Introduction:

  • XP-2 Plastic Building Material ASTM D2843 Smoke Density Test Chamber is designed and manufactured in accordance with ASTM D2843 standard , it is mainly for building products testing.

  • By detecting the loss of light transmission in test chamber, XP-2 Plastic Building Material ASTM D2843 Smoke Density Test Chamber can measure smoke density of burning and decomposition of building material during test.

 

Features:

  • The test chamber is Teflon coating, to resist the corrosion of smoke released during burning.

  • Light source is incandescent lamp, the photoelectric sensor is silicon photodiode, which has cosine calibration function.

  • Color filter is equipped to filter out ultraviolet light and infrared light.

  • Gas pressure of main burner is 256KPA, it is subjected to flame impact on test specimen.

  • Gas pressure of auxiliary burner is 138KPA, it can continue burn the molten droplets.

  • The computer and test software are equipped.
