By detecting the loss of light transmission in test chamber, XP-2 Plastic Building Material ASTM D2843 Smoke Density Test Chamber can measure smoke density of burning and decomposition of building material during test.
Features:

The test chamber is Teflon coating, to resist the corrosion of smoke released during burning.

Light source is incandescent lamp, the photoelectric sensor is silicon photodiode, which has cosine calibration function.

Color filter is equipped to filter out ultraviolet light and infrared light.

Gas pressure of main burner is 256KPA, it is subjected to flame impact on test specimen.
