Introduction:

  • Vertical Flame Tester is suitable for measuring limited flame spread properties of protective clothing.
  • The flame from the burner is applied for 10 s to the surface or the bottom of textile specimens which are vertically oriented.

 

Features:

  • The apparatus is designed and manufactured according to ISO 15025 standards.
  • The apparatus can be updated to meet the requirements of ISO6941, ISO 6940 etc by using different specimen holders.
  • The apparatus consists of a mounting frame, gas burner, and test specimen holder with supporting pins.
  • The angle of the burner can be pre-setted and adjusted automatically.
  • Burning time can be pre-setted and operate automatically.
  • Burning and glowing times are recorded and can be read on LCD screens.
